About this edition

The principal manuscript witness is a complete copy dated 1350 / 1931, which the editors of the Persian facsimile identify as being in ʿAllāmah Ṭabāṭabāʾī's own hand and use as their base copy. This edition's Arabic was first established from the Balāgh 2005 printing and then checked and corrected against that manuscript, with the other printed witnesses consulted where a reading was in question.

Where a difference materially affects the reading or the translation, a brief note explains the issue and the reading followed here.
